About
Nam Fong Han:
Han received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of British Columbia under the direction of Dr. Bill Cullen in 1987. Then the National Research Council of Canada employed Han as a research associate. After about two years, Han decided to go to the private sector and was co-founder of his first Biotechnology Company in 1991 based in Saskatoon. In 1997, Han founded his second company, Natunola Health Inc. that is based in Ottawa with its manufacturing plant in Winchester, Ontario. Recently, July 2002, Natunola Health merged with a publicly traded company, Sentex Systems Ltd. Natunola Health is now operated as a distinct operating division of Sentex, and Han remains as the President & CEO of Natunola Health. Han is also an Executive Officer and Director of Sentex.
Han
is also very active in chemical or Biotechnology related societies and
he is the Chairman of the Editorial Board of Canadian Chemical News since
2000. In 1999, Han was elected as a Fellow by the Chemical Institute of
Canada to recognize his contribution to the chemical society.
